LAW OF PROPERTY ACT RECEIVERSHIPS

LAW OF PROPERTY ACT/FIXED CHARGED RECEIVERSHIPS

An LPA Receiver combines the dual role of accountant/insolvency practitioner with a valuer and estate agent. This means a variety of methods can be used to maximise return for the lender.

Scanlans have qualified LPA Receivers registered with both NARA and the RICS taking appointments on all types of residential and commercial property throughout England and Wales.

We have over 30 years of experience and representatives of our team in all of our offices.

Scanlans LPA Receivers can deal in-house with all issues arising during the course of a receivership (including valuation, property management, landlord and tenant issues, planning and valuation issues). Scanlans are flexible and our all encompassing approach means there should be no “forced sale” of an empty building or partially completed development. A distressed sale can often result in a heavily discounted price and an increased shortfall on the debt.

Our proactive approach aims to maximise income from all transactions using our multi-disciplinary approach and in-house resources.
